CGRD Redemption CCG By: Roy Cruz et al
Redemption¨ is a collectible trading card game of historical and biblical adventure. Players use Heroes to rescue Lost Souls, overcoming any Evil Characters that oppose them. The game is similar to MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh. There are currently more than 2000 cards for collection and game play. The game is on it's 13th year and growing even stronger.

Types of Play in Redemption¨ Tournaments
  • Closed Deck (2-player)- A player receives one starter deck and three booster packs of choice. Player may add any cards from the three booster packs into a deck to be formed.
  • Booster Draft (Multi-Player)- A player starts out with one of 9 drafted Rock of Ages tin. There are 10 RoA cards in the tin that the player keeps and does not draft. Player then takes a card from each booster pack and passes the cards to the player next to them, draft-style. A Type 1 deck is to be formed after the draft.
  • Type I (2-Player & Multi-Player)- Players bring their pre-built decks with them to the tournament. Decks are built to the Type I deck building rules found in the rulebook. Minimum deck size: 50 cards.
  • Type II (2-Player & Multi-Player) - Players bring their pre-built decks with them to the tournament. Decks are built to the Type II deck building rules found in the rulebook.

Games, tournaments and demos will be going on all through the weekend in the board and card game room.
